 |  |  Jubilee Celebrations | Church Lawford & King's Newnham celebrated the Queen's Golden Jubilee in a fair amount of style. On Sunday there was a barbecue and barn dance in the hired marques, and on the Monday there was a sports afternoon for all ages, a disco for the young people, followed by a disco for the adults, and the results of the Queen's portrait and bike decoration competitions.
This is to say nothing of all of the village events which occured to make this all financially possible - the bingo night, promise auction & quiz night.
