The North Arcade
The north arcade retains three bays dating from the 14th century with octagonal pillars and moulded capitals and bases.
Below the corbel supporting the east bay is a 14th century piscina formerly connected with a rood-loft-altar. This feature was uncovered during the rebuilding programme and, fortunately, was allowed to remain.
| In the arcade itself is a series of charmingly carved faces, some possibly portraits, a few bordering on the grotesque.
Another original double piscina remains in the south wall of the sanctuary and opposite to it is an aumbry with the iron hinge-pins for the door in situ.
