More recent adaptations to the church in the 1990s included the removal of the rows of pews at the back of the nave and at the front of the north aisle and the addition of a small kitchen area in the north corner. This allowed church-goers the opportunity to meet after services for coffee and a chat.
Let us hope that the present and future years will deal kindlier with St. Peter’s Church than those of long ago dealt with its neighbour, Newnham Regis.

The text for this booklet was based on an article written in 1981 by the late Richard Norton, formerly of Church Lawford.
